Wicked Witch Legs in the Garden
Add a touch of playful, Wizard of Oz-inspired humor to your garden beds or bushes by crafting a pair of wicked witch legs that appear to have crashed-landed into your landscaping. This whimsical DIY project is incredibly easy to assemble using pool noodles, striped tights, and a pair of old pointed shoes. It provides a colorful, narrative-driven element to your outdoor decor that is sure to bring a smile to everyone who walks past your garden.
To make the witch legs, take two foam pool noodles and cut them to the length of average human legs. Pull a pair of black-and-white or orange-and-black striped tights over the noodles, ensuring the fabric is pulled taut and smooth. Slip a pair of old black high heels, pointed boots, or custom-made cardboard witch shoes onto the ends of the noodles, securing them with hot glue or wire. Insert sturdy wooden dowels or metal rebar stakes into the bottom of the pool noodles, and push the other end of the stakes deep into your garden soil, flowerpot, or evergreen bush so the legs stand straight up in the air, creating a comical, upside-down witch landing.
