Spooky Tree Eyes

This simple, clever DIY project utilizes recycled cardboard tubes and colorful glow sticks to create the illusion of mysterious creatures hiding in the foliage. To create these tree eyes, collect cardboard paper towel or toilet paper tubes. Using a utility knife, carefully cut out different eye shapes—such as slitted cat eyes, wide monster eyes, or angry triangular eyes—into the center of each tube. Cover the open ends of the tubes with black duct tape to prevent light from escaping. When night arrives, activate a vibrant green, red, or blue glow stick and insert it inside the tube, securing it with tape.
