9. Toilet Paper Roll Pumpkin Patch
Upcycle your empty cardboard toilet paper rolls into a vibrant, three-dimensional pumpkin patch. This is an incredibly simple, low-prep craft that is perfect for toddlers and preschoolers. Start by cutting cardboard tubes into rings that are about half an inch wide. Have your child paint these rings in various shades of orange, yellow, and deep red. Once dry, thread a green pipe cleaner through several of the painted rings, pulling them together into a circular, spherical shape. Twist the ends of the pipe cleaner together at the top to secure the rings, leaving a small portion pointing upward to act as the pumpkin stem. You can wrap the excess pipe cleaner around a pencil to create a curly green vine. These lightweight pumpkins look beautiful scattered across a dining table or nestled in a decorative bowl.
