Create your own reusable, stained-glass-style window decorations using simple dimensional puff paint. This craft is perfect for older kids who enjoy detailed design work. Place a piece of Halloween clip art—such as a bat, a jack-o’-lantern, or a skull—inside a clear plastic sheet protector or under a sheet of wax paper. Using black puff paint, trace the outlines of the design directly onto the plastic or wax paper. Let the outline dry for a couple of hours, then fill in the empty spaces with vibrant colors of puff paint. Make sure the paint is spread thick and touches all the black outlines so the cling stays together. Let the design dry completely overnight. Once dry, gently peel the flexible plastic design off the wax paper and press it onto a sunny window. The sunlight will filter through the colorful paint, creating a gorgeous glowing effect.
