19. Q-Tip Skeleton Art
Teach your kids about anatomy in a fun, creative way by building skeletons out of cotton swabs. Start with a sheet of black construction paper. Cut out a simple skull shape from white paper and glue it near the top of the page. Use a white crayon or silver marker to draw a spine line down the center of the paper. Next, have your kids cut Q-tips into various lengths to represent the different bones of the human body. They can use whole Q-tips for the long arm and leg bones, and smaller cut pieces for the ribs, collarbones, fingers, and toes. Glue the cotton swabs onto the black paper around the spine to build a complete, anatomically inspired skeleton. This craft is highly educational, visually striking, and incredibly satisfying to assemble.
