Primitive Wooden Frankenstein Monster
Celebrate classic horror with a blocky, primitive Frankenstein’s monster that is incredibly easy to assemble and full of spooky charm. Cut a single 2×4 block to about eight inches in length. Paint the bottom third of the block in a dark, moody gray or black to represent his classic suit jacket, and paint the top two-thirds in a muted, mossy green for his monstrous skin.
Use black paint to add his signature jagged, messy hairline at the very top of the block. For his face, paint two simple white circles with black pupils, a straight line for a mouth, and a few crooked stitches across his forehead and cheeks. To make this craft truly unique, drill a small hole into each side of his head and insert real, metallic metal bolts, securing them with a dab of hot glue. This industrial touch elevates the craft from a simple painted block to a high-quality, tactile decor piece.
