4. Whimsical Galaxy Night Sky
Galaxies are incredibly popular because they celebrate the unpredictable, wild nature of watercolor. You do not need precise lines; instead, you need a lot of water and a bold attitude. You begin by mapping out patches of bright pink, turquoise, and violet on a wet surface. While these colors are swimming together, you drop in intense, highly saturated black and Prussian blue around the edges, letting the dark pigment bleed inward but leaving the bright core shining. Once the piece is bone dry, you load a stiff brush or toothbrush with white gouache or thick watercolor and flick the bristles to splatter a dazzling field of tiny, distant stars across your universe.
