18. Charming Wildflower Meadow
You do not need to paint individual, detailed flowers to capture the beauty of a meadow. This project is all about impressionism. Start by painting a soft, blurry background wash of light greens and earthy yellows. Once dry, use the tip of your brush to splatter and dab vibrant dots of red, yellow, purple, and blue across the page to represent distant wildflowers. In the foreground, paint a few taller, sharper blades of grass and simple flower stems reaching upward. This technique creates a sense of endless depth and joyful, natural chaos.
