Paper Loop Bat Garland
Creating paper loops is a classic crafting technique that adds a wonderful three-dimensional element to holiday decorations. This paper loop bat craft is incredibly simple, making it perfect for group crafting sessions, classrooms, or playdates. To start, cut strips of black construction paper about two inches wide and eight inches long.
Form a loop with a strip of paper and secure the ends with glue or a staple to create the bat’s cylindrical body. Next, cut out simple bat wing shapes from black paper and glue them to the sides of the paper loop. Kids can then add googly eyes and draw a cute, fanged mouth using a silver or white metallic marker. To turn these individual bats into a festive room decoration, slide a long piece of orange ribbon or twine through the center of the paper loops, stringing them together to create a playful, dimensional garland that can be draped across walls or doorframes.
