Handprint Spider Art
Create a spooky-cute keepsake with this simple Handprint Spider Art. Pour black washable paint onto a paper plate. To make the spider, you will paint your toddler’s hand, but leave the thumb paint-free. Press their painted hand down on a sheet of light-colored paper (like orange or yellow) with the fingers pointing outward to form four of the spider’s legs. Repeat the process with the other hand, overlapping the palms in the center so the fingers point in the opposite direction, creating the remaining four legs. Once the black paint dries, let your toddler glue several googly eyes onto the center palm area to give their spider a friendly, goofy face.
