Mystical Crystal Ball Candlesticks
Add a touch of fortune-telling fortune and occult mystery to your living room with DIY mystical crystal balls. Find inexpensive wooden or brass candlesticks at a local thrift store and paint them in a matte black or metallic copper finish. For the crystal balls, purchase clear, hollow plastic fillable ornaments. Place a small, battery-operated color-changing LED tea light inside each ornament. To create a swirling, misty, magical effect inside the globe, stuff a small amount of polyester fiberfill or iridescent cellophane wrap around the light source. Pop the ornament onto the candlestick holder, securing it with hot glue.
