The Messy Crown Braid
The messy crown braid is a gorgeous, ethereal style that wraps your head in textured beauty. While traditional crown braids require long hair to wrap fully around the head, chin-length hair can achieve the same look by meeting in the middle. Part your hair down the center and create two loose French braids, starting from the front hairline and working backward along the sides of your head. Secure each braid at the nape of your neck with a clear elastic.
Cross the two braided ends over each other at the back of your head, tucking the loose tails underneath the opposite braid to create a seamless, continuous circle. Secure everything firmly with bobby pins. Use your fingers to gently tug at the braids, loosening them and allowing short, wispy layers to fall around your face and neck. This soft, romantic updo is incredibly flattering and perfect for weddings, garden parties, or any occasion where you want to feel effortlessly beautiful.
