The Twisted Low Halo

11

The twisted low halo is a softer, more approachable alternative to a braided crown. It is incredibly quick to style, making it a perfect option for busy mornings when you still want to look put-together. Start by parting your hair down the middle. Take a small section of hair near your parting on one side and split it into two. Twist the two sections around each other, adding a little more hair from your hairline with each twist, moving along your hairline towards the back of your head.

Once you reach the back, secure the twist temporarily with a clip, and repeat the process on the opposite side. Bring both twists together at the nape of your neck and secure them with a small elastic. To complete the “halo” effect, tuck the remaining loose tail of the ponytail up and over the twisted band, securing it with bobby pins. This creates a continuous, circular roll of twisted hair that looks incredibly feminine and delicate. Pull out a few wispy strands around your ears to frame your face beautifully.
