9. Cardboard Gargoyle Wall Sconces
Add a touch of medieval cathedral architecture to your hallway with dramatic, stone-look gargoyle wall sconces made from cardboard. Cut out the silhouette of a crouching gargoyle, complete with bat wings, horns, and a menacing expression, layering pieces of cardboard to give the figure a 3D relief effect. Paint the gargoyle with a textured stone finish using gray and black acrylic paint, dry-brushing white on the raised edges to catch the light.
