Create the illusion of giant, floating arachnids hovering in your hallway or entryway with this clever balloon craft. Inflate a large black balloon for the body and a smaller one for the head, tying them together. Drape a large sheet of sheer black tulle or organza over the balloons, securing it tightly at the knots; this gives the spider a ghostly, veiled texture that catches the air currents. For the legs, wrap lightweight foam pool noodles in black crepe paper or fabric, bending them and securing them to a lightweight cardboard harness hidden beneath the tulle. Hang these lightweight giants from the ceiling using clear monofilament fishing line, making them appear to float mid-air.
