12. Metallic Spider Pumpkin Topiary
Ditch the traditional jack-o’-lantern carving and opt for a chic, metallic pumpkin topiary. Stack three graduated faux pumpkins (from largest to smallest) and secure them with a central dowel. Paint the pumpkins in contrasting matte shades, such as charcoal grey, stark white, and deep plum. Using a fine metallic gold or copper paint marker, draw highly detailed, cascading spiderwebs that spill from the top pumpkin down to the bottom. Adorn the pumpkins with various sizes of plastic spiders that have been spray-painted in matching metallic gold or copper, gluing them so they appear to be climbing up the elegant tower.
