Paper Plate Witch Crafts
Bring the classic Halloween witch to life using paper plates, construction paper, and bright orange yarn. Kids can paint the center of a paper plate a pale green to serve as the witch’s face. While the paint dries, they can cut out a large, pointed witch’s hat from black cardstock and decorate it with a bright purple band and a sparkling yellow paper buckle.
Glue the hat to the top of the plate, and then use strands of bright orange or neon green yarn to create wild, messy witch hair spilling out from under the brim. Add a long, crooked paper nose, some googly eyes, and draw a toothy, mischievous grin. This craft is highly expressive and allows kids to experiment with different hair lengths and facial features to create their own friendly neighborhood witch.
