Ghostly Milk Jug Lanterns for the Walkway
Do not throw away your plastic gallon milk jugs just yet. With a little creativity, they can be upcycled into a charming, luminous pathway that guides guests to your front door. Start by thoroughly cleaning and drying your empty milk jugs. Using a black permanent marker, draw unique, expressive ghostly faces on the front of each jug—some spooky, some silly, and some downright terrifying. Carefully cut a small opening in the back of each jug near the base. Thread a string of orange or purple outdoor LED Christmas lights through the openings, or place a single bright LED puck light inside each one. Line them up along your driveway, garden path, or porch steps for a brilliant, eco-friendly light display that radiates cozy Halloween warmth.
