12. The Poplar Cottage at Sunset

I’ll be honest, this last one is less about the build and more about the feeling. A simple poplar cottage, built on a little rise, with nothing around it except grass and sky, and the whole thing turns golden when the sun goes down.
Build it facing west, keep the windows big, and put a lantern on the porch. Then just stand back and watch. Some builds are about showing off, and some are about that one perfect moment. This is that one.
That’s my poplar wood cottage list, and I really hope you try at least one of them. Poplar is still so new that there’s no wrong way to use it yet. Pick the one that made you smile, grab your axe, and go build it — then come back and tell me which one was your favorite.
