7. Sunken Firepit & Hammock Spot

Focusing heavily on outdoor living and community gathering, the Sunken Firepit & Hammock Spot is a modern, landscape-focused campsite design. Instead of prioritizing a large indoor structure, this concept centers around a deeply recessed stone firepit surrounded by comfortable outdoor seating and suspended wool hammocks slung between large forest trees.
Dig a three-by-three square two blocks deep into the forest floor, lining the walls with polished granite and mud bricks. Place a campfire in the center, surrounding it with basalt pillars and dark oak stairs to create plush, subterranean seating. Nearby, create hammocks by stretching colored wool carpets between two spruce trees, anchored at each end with tripwire hooks and string. Surround the perimeter with tall grass, sweet berry bushes, and glowing berries hanging from jungle vines to make the area feel like a secret, sunken oasis tucked away from the rest of the world.
