5. Ancient Brown Shelf-Fungus Treehouse
Breaking away from vertical stems, the Ancient Brown Shelf-Fungus Treehouse grafts multiple wide, fan-shaped mushroom shelves directly onto the trunk of a massive, custom-built old-growth oak tree. Each bracket fungus serves as a different living terrace, linked by hollowed-out tree branches and rope ladders. The shelves utilize brown mushroom blocks, mud bricks, and packed mud slabs to achieve a rich, earthy texture that looks entirely natural and structurally sound.
The lowest shelf holds a cozy outdoor kitchen complete with smoker setups and composters hidden beneath leafy canopy drapes, while the higher shelves feature a sleeping nook and an observatory for stargazing. Hanging lanterns and firefly-inspired light clusters (built using spore blossoms and barrier blocks with glowberries) drift lazily around the tree trunk. It is an ideal home for players who love verticality, integration with nature, and building homes that feel seamlessly woven into their surroundings.
