15. Overgrown Roots Swamp Toadstool

15

Anchored deep in the murky waters of a mangrove swamp, the Overgrown Roots Swamp Toadstool leans heavily into natural, wild textures. The base of the mushroom stem is wrapped in gnarled mangrove roots, mud, and mossy cobblestone, making it look as though it has weathered centuries of swamp tides. The cap is a weathered mixture of brown mushroom blocks, green moss, and patchworks of dark oak slabs.

Fallen trees and floating lily pads form natural footbridges leading to the home’s heavy spruce door. Around the exterior, froglights hidden inside hollow logs attract colorful swamp frogs, filling the air with life and ambient glowing light. Inside, the cottage features a rustic witch’s parlor layout, complete with glowing cauldrons, armor stands holding custom robes, and hanging herbs made of leaf blocks and iron bars.
