Materials Needed

- 20-gauge and 24-gauge jewelry wrapping wire (gold, silver, or copper)

- Necklace chain or cord cord
How to Make It
- Cut two 10-inch pieces of 20-gauge wire and cross them at their centers, twisting them together to form a base cage.
- Place the crystal securely inside the middle of the wire cross.
- Bring the wires up along the sides of the stone, twisting adjacent wires together to wrap the crystal securely.
- Gather all four wire ends at the top center of the stone.
- Use round-nose pliers to bend the top wires into a sturdy loop (bail) for your chain.
- Wrap excess wire tail neatly around the base of the loop and snip clean.
