Asymmetrical Braided Side Bun
Adding a dynamic, diagonal flow to the hair, the asymmetrical braided side bun combines diagonal braiding techniques with a soft side-placed updo. A single French or Dutch braid originates above one temple and weaves diagonally across the back of the head, picking up strands along the way until it reaches the opposite nape behind the ear.
The remaining length of the long hair is then twisted into a voluminous side bun that rests comfortably near the collarbone. The diagonal line of the braid creates a visually captivating path for the eye to follow, making the hairstyle look dynamic from every profile view. It provides a marvelous balance for dresses with low-cut backs, diagonal necklines, or detailed shoulder straps.
