12. The Sunny Sunflower
Brighten up the school hallways with a giant, radiant sunflower style. This design is perfect for short hair because it centers around a single, focal point on the head. Gather the top section of the hair into a neat, tight bun right at the crown. Spray this central bun with temporary brown or black hair color to represent the seed center of the sunflower.
Next, cut out large, vibrant yellow petals from stiff felt or craft foam. Attach these petals to a circular base or individual hair clips and arrange them symmetrically around the base of the bun. The remaining short hair at the back and sides can be left natural or sprayed with a vibrant green to represent the leaves and stem.
